While we are navigating through the summer months of 2021, there's a constant level of uncertainty in how our contribution to society includes the highly valued interpersonal connections that have been enjoyed by Rotary Rotarians in earlier times. Although the mantra of "hands-face-space" is certain to become part of routine in our club, it is obvious that trust is increasing and that there is a greater number of face-to-face interactions. Rotary has indeed changed. While we are in the summer of 2021, there is a lot of uncertainty about whether our service to society will include the much-valued human connection experienced by Rotary participants in the past. While the traditional 'hands in face space' is sure to continue to be a component of our practice, it's evident that confidence is building and more face-to-face connections are happening. Rotary is, however, having changed. Rotary network is a great way to make lasting friendships. We've honed the way we conduct online meetings for our business' whilst reintroducing activities for service and social using a friendly face-toface approach. The new possibilities have been combined with our most effective pre-pandemic strategies to create a new and bright outlook for Rotary. In an Rotary survey that was conducted in the past, it was encouraging to find the fact that 75% the clubs had planned their normal programs and activities that had previously helped communities throughout Great Britain and Ireland. While I'm extremely proud of the fact that Rotary continues to be a part of the Rotary Centre continues to support the many community projects that help the people who are members of Rotary and ensure their safety, compliance and Insurance are essential. Our members' creativity and innovative thinking in finding solutions to some of the toughest problems is amazing. I am thankful for the opportunities Rotary offered me in 2002 with the opportunity to become a participant. Like so many Rotary members, it has given me a strong trustworthy community of fellow members who have formed genuine relationships been formed over the last 20 years.
